Rithwik is a rising Sophomore at UC Berkeley studying Computer Science and potentially a second major in Political Science. He loves interesting conversations around international relations, with a specific passion for issues involving the US and Asian countries. He has a background in machine learning algorithms that can see like humans and understand language, as well as space sciences like rockets and orbits. Technology that can create massive advantages (AI, nuclear energy, and cryptography) are also the most volatile, and that makes him energized to learn more about how to use them. He believes that attacking the issues that seem too big to tackle today will push us far ahead in the long run. Who would have thought a century ago that computers would one day outclass humans at strategy games like chess and spy satellites would peer at every visible square meter on the planet?
