Bailey Farren is currently pursuing degrees from UC Berkeley in Cognitive Science and Rhetoric. Her focus and research interests rest at the intersections of technological and ethical strategy and discourse.
Professionally, she has worked as a data strategist in AI analytics and is currently doing curriculum development for UC Berkeley’s Division of Data Sciences. Farren leads a team towards the integration of coursework from “Human Context and Ethics of Data” into upper division data science, computer science, and cognitive science material.
Her academic goals include the exploration of entrepreneurship and innovative relationships between public and private spheres as well as pursuing a graduate degree in Science and Technology Studies with an emphasis in Big Data and Cybersecurity.
